“The Grand Old Lady of Cooke County—A Preview of the Cooke County Courthouse’s Historic Facelift” is the program for the Thursday, November 3rd meeting of Cooke County Republican Women. In advance of the official rededication and centennial celebration scheduled for November 12, Judge John Roane and Commissioner Leon Klement will display pictures and drawings, and explain the challenges of working with the Texas Historical Commission on this historic restoration. The meeting will be held at First Christian Church Fellowship Hall in Gainesville, beginning at 7 p.m.  Guests are welcome!
