Cooke County Republican Party Election Press Release
Texas Statewide Election Results
November 5, 2014
From Cooke County GOP Chairman Keith “K.O.” Orsburn.
On Tuesday, voters with traditional Republican values and principles were victorious over the continual malaise pouring out of Washington D.C. These values include: Family first, individual and equal opportunity to succeed, smaller government with less interference in our lives and reduced regulations for business. Republican values allow for freedom and individual responsibility, and the premise that businesses and corporations, not government, are the primary producers of jobs in our country.
On Tuesday, true Republicans ran on these principles which they had worked for tirelessly in their campaigns and over the years of working inside the Republican Party. These candidates were not newcomers to the party, having previously sacrificed time and treasure to the betterment of the Republican Party. These were not so called RINOs, and it is gratifying to see the Party support these candidates and their values for the promotion and preservation of our nation.
Likewise, Republicans cannot afford to surface and work only during individual campaigns and elections. I invite anyone that is for freedom of the individual, family values and limited government to join our party and participate now to advance these principles, and work with us to elect a like-minded President in 2016.
