OFFICIAL NOTICE OF CANDIDATE FILING PERIOD
The 30-day filing period for submitting applications for a place on the Ballot
for the March 1, 2016 Republican Primary Election
begins Saturday, November 14, 2015, and ends on Monday, December 14, 2015 at 6 p.m.
Applications must be submitted to the Republican Party County Chairman, Chris McNamara.

Republican Headquarters will be open Saturday, November 14, 2015, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. for first-day filers,
and will be open Monday, December 14, from 4 – 6 p.m. for those who wish to file on the last day.
Note: The 6 p.m. deadline is NOT a postmark deadline; the complete, correct, notarized applications,
including fees or petitions in lieu of fees, must be in the hands of the County Chair by that time.
Applications cannot be amended in any way after the deadline.
The filing period for anyone wishing to apply for the position of County Chairman
for the 2016-2018 term is also November 14 – December 14, 2015. Use this form.
The Cooke County Republican Party strongly advises all candidates
to submit their applications and the required fees or petitions early during the filing period,
so that the candidates will have sufficient time to remedy deficiencies, if any.
